The reason animal testing is wrong
Testing makeup products on animals can lead to irritation of the eye and skin.
This irritation is often triggered by the chemical composition of the makeup product.
Sometimes, the testing procedure also includes shocking, burning and poisoning of animals.
Their skins are shaved and then the chemical is applied to check for reactions.
These animals are then kept under study (in cages) for days and most times weeks to observe the effects.
If there is indeed a reaction, the animals are not treated or given pain relief!
The worst part is, lethal dose tests are sometimes carried out to determine the percentage of chemical/makeup product the animal can ingest before dying!
Animal testing is unfair and cruel and avoiding these companies can help save the animals.
